Direct Voice ConnectionsDirect voice is a dedicated link between your site and the network provider. You will enjoy substantial cost savings on line rental and call charges.  Other benefits of Direct Voice include:

Inbound Services: Inbound solutions allow you to manage the routing of incoming calls to one or more departments or call centres of your choice.  Most typically, they will utilise the different types of Non-Geographic Numbers (NGNs) such as 0800 Freephone and the 0845 Local and 0870 National rated calls.  Various additional features are available such as:

Automated attendant: the caller is initially greeted with a welcome message and then prompted to select options, routing the call to predefined numbers, e.g. "press one for Sales", "press two for Technical Support" and so on.

Queue management: this encompasses both call queuing and call counting. The caller is greeted with a welcome message and an on-hold message is played until the caller reaches the top of the queue. The on-hold message can be interrupted by other messages, such as the user’s position in the queue.

Management reporting: you can choose to receive extensive call analysis reports to obtain feedback on the performance of your different promotions or departments. For example, these show you:

• How many calls you are receiving and from which areas
• Through traffic analysis, the time of day calls are received and days of the month
• Most frequent inbound numbers
• The duration of each call, etc.

The overall benefits to you include:

  • Targeting the effectiveness of advertising;
  • Improving the general efficiency of call handling;
  • Determining the optimum resources required to fulfil service levels better, and building customer loyalty.

We will usually source Freephone (0800) and some non-geographic numbers for you at no cost, although some ‘intelligent’ call management services may require a small set-up charge.

We do not supply Premium Rate numbers (09) including 0871 and 0844.

If you are currently using non-geographic numbers and looking for a better package, your existing numbers can usually be transferred to our recommended supplier free of charge and without disruption to your service.
